IF THE PATIENT WAS ORIGINALLY DISCHARGED HOME FROM ACUTE INPT STAY, BUT THEN AFTER RETURNING HOME ENROLLS W/ A HOME HEALTH AGENCY, WHICH DISCHARGE SATATUS CODE SHOULD BE ON OUR CLAIM?

Does a discharge to a home hospice (discharge status 50) constitute a qualified discharge when pricing the DRG payment preceding transfer to home hospice?

If so, do you know where I can find documentation regarding that?
