Health Care and Project Management

As of 6/15/2004, there are 844 members in Healthcare Project Management SIG. In addition, as of 2002, there are approximately 5,794 hospitals in the US. So here is an interesting question, since America is moving forward with an electronic healthcare record. How are we going to implement it if so few healthcare institutions are interested in project management? (Assumption being, the members of the Healthcare project management sig is indicative to those interested in PM)
