Bringing changes into production need to be controlled. It is essential to continuing the business process. Now, sometimes outside risk factors cause changes of smaller scope to occur with a sense of urgency to divert a larger impact.

However all changes need to have four main factors.
1. Comprehensive testing of the set of changes.
2. A complete sense of the impact of the changes to the business community.
3. A way to return to the original state if problems occur after implementation.
4. A full recovery mechanism of all user data and system configurations before implementation.
