Don't have secrets

Project Management is an interesting task. One of the main tenets of project management is not to keep secrets. What do I mean? Basically if an issue arises or if there is even an indication of an issue address it. Get the key needed players in the room, analysis the risk, and have plans to overcome the obstacle. If it is an obstacle that can not be hurdled, clearly define the impact. The key is that you don't need to know the answer, you need to know various ways to address the issue at hand with the least impact and risk to the business.

As a friend of mine says, honesty is the best policy.
